Sketching
Architecture sketching is at the core of my design process. It is a powerful tool for exploring ideas, communicating concepts, and helping clients clearly visualize their projects from the earliest stages. With extensive experience in both manual and digital sketching, I use a broad range of techniques, including pencil, pen and ink, color markers, black-and-white studies, and digital painting, to develop and refine design solutions. My sketching practice also extends beyond design, including contributions to initiatives that support cultural entities in documenting heritage sites, as well as generating multiple design alternatives that guide decision-making and improve project outcomes. I have also collaborated with leading sketching application teams such as Concepts, Morpholio, and uMake, deepening my understanding of digital workflows and creative tools. Through freehand drawing and digital media, I explore everything from spatial configurations and massing studies to material expression, progressing seamlessly from initial sketches to fully developed design concepts. My sketches have gained international recognition and continue to inspire architects and students, demonstrating how sketching can unlock creativity and elevate the design process.
